His older brother, Willie “Jay” Stone, is very well-known for his claim to fame with 4 trips and 3 wins on Showtime at the Apollo, racking up a nomination at the 2007 Southern Entertainment Awards, and selling over 4,000 copies digitally and out the trunk to date of his debut album “Impatiently Waiting” which was released on C.Stone’s label. In addition, with upcoming solo albums in the works, a clothing line, an allstarmotivation.com created men’s and women’s fragrance plus BreadWinner Films, C.Stone continues to prove that his career is on a constant incline.
Music and entertainment ultimately embedded themselves into
C. Stone's life once he began to take notice of his brother's major talents. Outside of focusing on football and track & filed, he began to utilize his time in an impromptu studio that he created from various stereo equipment, including a 5-disc CD player, and a tape deck. Shortly thereafter, he began to develop a small fan base that gradually increased. C. Stone slowly established a notable name for himself in the Central Texas area, but more prominently in his hometown of Killeen,Tx. During his junior year at Shoemaker High School, he deejayed at and hosted numerous parties, wrote songs for Jay Stone, recorded mixtapes with his friends, and started making gold grills. However, the sudden death of his father in early 2003 was a major tragedy at the climax of his emerging career. Ultimately, C. Stone harnessed these emotions and used them as a motivation to propel his career to a higher level. Upon his graduation from high school, C.Stone successfully obtained a four year football scholarship to Abilene Christian University. After completing one semester, he decided to move his business venture into a bigger city. In 2005, he transferred toPrairie View A & M University where he graduated in may of 2009 and his career reached a much higher peak. Although he continued to play football, music and entertainment shortly became his most integral sports to play. Over the next few years, C. Stone continued to build up his company as well as establishing himself in the Houston area. He connected with the notable jewelry and grill-maker Johnny Dang a.k.a. TV Johnny, and recently played a major role in the grand opening of his store, Johnny Dang & Co. Custom Jewelry in the Galleria area and sharpstown malls.His launching of his own Lifetime Member clothing line continue to motivate him to advance each project to the next level. C.Stone has also dabbled in the acting business starring in three Johnny Dang & Co. Television Commercials. In 2010 Stone wrote, and performed on “Stay Iced Up” the second single from multi-platinum recording artist Paul Wall’s album “Heart Of A Champion” the single went on to get national airplay as well as “New Joint Of The Day” on 106th & Park and MTV Jamz.
Most recently C.Stone released a chart topping group album with Paul Wall and has made appearances on National Geographic, HBO , Showtime Boxing , Premiere Boxing Champions, and MORE! He is the co-executive producer for the all new Diamond Boyz podcast along with Paul Wall , Johnny Dang , and Podcast King SWAY.
C. Stone exhibits the true qualities and background of a tycoon in the making.
